‘Inspired by the Celtic goddess Brìghde, guardian of healing, poetry, fire, farming and livestock, the space will honour the rhythms of the land, the sacredness of nourishment and the transformative power of ritual.

Drawing inspiration from the wise women of Scotland’s past, those who, though barred from studying medicine, held deep knowledge of herbs, healing and the rhythms of the body. Feared for their wisdom and too often accused of witchcraft, these women were the original healers… guardians of the apothecary arts. Here we will honour their legacy.’

The House of Brìghde is a space of nourishment, reflection, and reconnection—where traditional wisdom meets a grounded, contemporary approach to wellbeing.

Rooted in a deep respect for the relationship between food, lifestyle, environment, and lived experience, the House of Brìghde brings together holistic practices, a living apothecary, and immersive experiences designed to support everyday wellbeing.

Founded by Dr Kim Hanning Jackson, the space is shaped by her perspective alongside a broader, integrative understanding of human balance and vitality.

Dr Kim practises in a holistic and naturopathic capacity, with a particular focus on digestive wellbeing. Her approach is thoughtful and integrative, offering guidance that supports the body’s natural processes and overall balance. Trauma Informed Work & Somatic Integration

This is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and explore a different relationship with wellbeing…one that is rooted in nourishment, awareness and lived experience.

We offer in-person experiences and sessions in the East Neuk of Fife, as well as selected online offerings.
