We use Practice Better, a secure, GDPR-compliant platform, to manage bookings, records, and communication.

  • Data may be stored on secure servers outside the UK (including Canada and the USA).
  • Practice Better uses encryption and international safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.
  • By using our services, you consent to your data being stored and processed via Practice Better.

6. How We Store & Protect Your Information

  • Electronic records are stored securely in encrypted form within Practice Better and/or secure local storage.
  • Paper records (if used) are stored in locked secure premises.
  • Access is restricted to authorised personnel bound by confidentiality obligations.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

  • Consultation and service records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in line with GMC and NHS record-keeping guidance.
  • After this period, your data will be securely deleted or destroyed.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access a copy of your information
  • Ask us to correct or delete your information (subject to legal obligations)
  • Restrict or object to our processing of your data
  • Request your data in a portable format
