A Weekend Retreat

Rooted in both ancient tradition and emerging science, The Feast of the Veil is a first-of-its-kind retreat in the UK.

Uniting the clinical credibility of modern medicine with the soul of Celtic ritual and holistic healing.

Led by a specialist medical doctor and supported by internationally certified holistic practitioners, this retreat offers a truly integrative approach to food as medicine and whole-body healing. It is designed to restore balance across the physical, emotional, and ancestral self , drawing on both clinical insight and timeless tradition.

The Feast of the Veil

A seasonal gathering rooted in the Celtic festival of Samhain, a time when the boundary between the seen and unseen worlds is said to grow thin. “The veil” softens, inviting reflection, remembrance, and renewal.

At this threshold between light and dark, autumn and winter, The Feast of the Veil offers a sacred pause.

It is both a celebration and a softening, a weekend to tend the inner fire as the outer world begins to cool.

Here, feasting becomes ritual: food prepared with care, shared in community, offered as medicine.

Here, the gut is honoured as the hearth, as the centre of intuition, digestion, and emotional memory.

Here, story, song, and silence return us to what is wise, ancestral, and deeply human.
Blending modern integrative health with ancient seasonal practice, The Feast of the Veil invites you to rest, replenish, and cross the threshold with intention.
This is not a detox. It is a return… to the hearth, to the land, to the wisdom within.
